To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. Click on Dog Application to apply.
All of Waverly Pet Rescue's dogs and puppies are current on vaccinations, tested heartworm negative, and spayed or neutered.
In order to be considered for an adoption today you must be 21 years of age, have knowledge and consent of all adults living in your household, have a valid Id with current address, your landlord’s name and phone number.

Adult: About a year old as of May 2024. Born Feb. Or March 2023.
Breed: Best guess is a Pyredoodle which is a mix of Standard Poodle and Great Pyrenees .
Sex: Female
Size: 45 pounds.
Coat length: Her coat is wire curly hair like but still soft.
House-trained: Yes.
Good in a home with: Other dogs, older children.
Best in a home without: Young children
Unknown: Cats.
Dog Family: Xena does have a sister named Purdy listed on here if anyone would like to adopt both dogs. If they were totally bonded and missing each other when separated like what happens with some dogs, we would keep them together. It is not required because each dog would be completely ok without the other.
Personality: Sweet and a puppy at heart.
Required: A fenced in yard.
