Waverly Pet Rescue is not a shelter; all our animals are in foster homes. To be eligible to visit an animal, you must first fill out an application and get approved to adopt; then we can arrange for you to meet the pet you are interested in.

Waverly Pet Rescue is an all volunteer, no-kill rescue based in Waverly, Iowa. Our adoptable animals live in loving foster homes. Waverly Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Established in August 2006.

Mission Statement: The primary purpose of Waverly Pet Rescue is to find loving and responsible homes for all the animals in our care, to educate the community about responsible pet ownership, to promote spaying and neutering all pets, and to provide a caring environment where those animals can live without fear of being euthanized before that forever home is found.
